From time to time I have had people ask me about photos, sometimes even stopping me on the
trail when they've seen me intently photographing some subject or landscape,
asking if I had photos of the park that they could get as memories of their
time at Rondeau. As a result, I decided to go out on a limb and produce
a calendar, which has been printed locally.
I sorted through many hundreds of images which were taken prior to 2014. The resulting photos were chosen to represent a broad range of subjects, illustrating some of the natural diversity that Rondeau has to offer.
It is a limited edition 2015 calendar, entitled
Rondeau...naturally, and is now available at the Friends of Rondeau store in the Visitor Centre during open hours (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.) from Thursday-Sunday until the end of October. It is also available at the Park Office when it is open Monday-Friday (or if you happen to catch it open on a weekend) both now and also after October.
The cost is $17.70 plus taxes, with proceeds going to support park programs.
Here is a preview. Each photo measures ~ 9" X 12", so when it is hanging on the wall it will be ~ 18" X 12". (Please note that the
© P. Allen Woodliffe you see in the photos below does not appear on the actual calendar, just here on this blog site.)
